how do soaking cancellations and refunds work?

All soaking reservations must be cancelled 24 hours before your appointment in order to receive a refund. We do not offer partial-refunds.

There are two ways you may cancel your reservation:

1) The easiest method will be to find your confirmation email, and scroll to the bottom of the email and click the button that says “Cancel Reservation”. This method will also be the quickest to begin the refund process.

2) The second method is to navigate to our Contact Page, and complete the contact form. Select “Cancelling my soaking reservation” and then provide the necessary information for our team to find and cancel the reservation(s).

In the event that you receive a refund of payment, funds can take up to 10 business days after our processing to become available, depending on your bank institution. Debit cards typically require the most time. Refunds will be processed on the original card used to purchase and will not be processed for amounts larger than the original purchase amount.

What is the refund/cancellation policy for accommodations?

We allow cancellations up to 72 hours prior to your arrival date. If you must cancel your reservation within 72 hours, you will be charged the amount of one nights stay.

We do not provide refunds for late arrivals or early departures. Desert Reef Hot Spring reserves the right to cancel or amend any reservation without notification should the deposit or payment dates not be met. Cancellation anytime releases rights to the accommodation.

What is the refund/cancellation policy for events?

We do not allow cancellations or refunds for our event tickets. All ticket purchases are final.

If I booked an accommodation, is soaking included?

Yes, soaking is always included for all of our overnight guests from check-in to check-out during all open pool hours. This means there is no need to make a separate soaking reservation, unless you would like to begin your soak earlier in the day before check-in.

Wednesday & Thursday: Soak until 4pm on check-out day.

Friday, Saturday, & Sunday: Soak until 1pm on check-out day.

Are you pet friendly?

No. We adore dogs (and other pets) which is why we ask you to leave them at home. Dogs (aside from documented service dogs) are not allowed in the pool area or the parking lot as it does not have shade and can get very hot. A service animal is a dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for a person with a disability. The work or task a dog has been trained to provide must be directly related to the person’s disability. Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA. There are no pets allowed on the property, and disregard for this guideline will result in being asked to leave immediately without refund.

DOES IT GET CROWDED?

Gosh, we hope not, which is why we’re changing to requiring reservations prior to arrival. Our goal is to create a relaxing environment which means limiting capacity. Click here to make a reservation.

WHAT ARE YOUR COVID PROTOCOLS?

We ask that all guests social distance in the pool area, and require that people who are sick or who have had flu-like symptoms in the last 2 weeks not to visit the reef.

DO YOU PROVIDE MEMBERSHIPS?

We do provide memberships for regular guests who have a history with the reef or who have been recommended by another member. If you’re interested please ask one of our staff about membership next time you’re here. Alternatively we recommend starting with a Splash Pass prior to inquiring about a membership. Splash Passes are a discount card good for 6 soaks for an individual or 3 soaks for two people. You can purchase a Splash Pass online and pick it up when you arrive.

Is your facility byob?

We are currently in the process of getting our liquor license at which time we will no longer be BYOB. Until then we allow two alcoholic beverages per person in the pool area (no glass bottles of any kind). Any visibly intoxicated or disruptive persons will be immediately asked to leave and not allowed reentry to Desert Reef again.

Is there any shade?

Yes! We are thrilled about our new shade structures and hope you will be as well.

Do you have changing rooms?

Changing rooms are provided with toilets, sinks, and showers. Please lock your phone and any valuables in your car.
